this game comes very close to super stardust hd on ps3!! amazing graphics, runs very smooth just like stardust and gameplay is really addicting! totally worth the $2!

Im not quite sure how they did it, but this game has the shortest load time and highest framerate of ALL the apps on my iPod Touch 2G, and Ive filled every page and then some. The graphics are vibrant, smooth, and layered, the gameplay is fast, responsive, and fun, and the levelling and quick-load online record boards are bonuses. Net-based multiplayer would rock this game.

This is a great shooter game and easily the best astroids-type shooter to date! The game play is perfect and the ability to upgrade your ship and change from one type of weapon to another adds a new dimension to the game. Great game and definately worth the money!

Nice graphics. Good control. You can play your own music while playing the game but there is no in-game option to let you select which song to play from your playlist. You have to play the song from your playlist before starting the game. Deduct one star here. Hopefully there will be update to add that option.

Great Great Game!!! Hard to put it down sometimes, but the great thing is you can pick it up again and start right from where you left off. Keep up the good work!!!

If you played and loved minigore this is the upgraded version for you. With the same control scheme but multiple weapons, power ups, enemies and playing modes this is a must buy for any space shooter fan. Cant put it down.

My hats off to the devs of this little gem. Clearly taking cues from the likes of Geometry Wars and Super Stardust HD, Meteor Blitzs presentation and execution are nothing short of amazing. Kick a*s visuals coupled with THE TIGHTEST controls make this game stand head and shoulders over anything else Ive seen on the platform. The super responsive controls means my ship does exactly what I tell it to, which makes for some superb gameplay. I cant stress enough how awesome this game feels to play. Bravo!

Runs very well, fun game play. I like the auto pause feature! Maybe in the future add an upgrade shield so maybe you buy one or. Two and it recharges every ... 10 sec

This game is great although I cant really play it, I make it to stage 4/5 on 1 life then the game crashes, Ive only made it to the second unlocked level, cant play it much longer if it keeps crashing.

Very very similar to stardust but this is good as it can gets.

Meteor Blitz is a game that feels as if it were an extension of the iPhone/touch. A seamless integration of hardware and software, it provides simple gameplay topped with a thick layer of polish. The premise is simple: Use the proven twin stick control system to mow down enemies and asteroids with three different weapons as well as your ships ability to boost and a built in gravity gun. Different weapons prove effective against different opposition, for example the ice laser will have an easier time dealing with fire asteroids. All of your ships weapons and a few of its key systems are upgradable, and your collected upgrades persist even if you lose the game. Slick visuals, a smooth framerate, a catchy audio track and well placed sound effects all contribute to this games appeal. There are a slew of other touches (no pun intended) such as the game automically pausing when you remove both thumbs from the virtual stick and nearly intantaneous load times that make trekking through the games six worlds a real treat. Recommended for any iPhone/touch gamer!

I love this game!

I thought this game was going to be a touch to shoot game but its not is awsome. The controls feel very smooth and respond very nice the graphics are good and i like the music. Over all this game gets an A- now only if geomatry wars was on ipodtouch
